Spinach Cheese Balls
Ingredients :
- 1 box (9 oz) Green Giant frozen chopped spinach, thawed, squeezed to drain
- 1 cup Original Bisquick mix
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz)
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 cup tomato pasta sauce, heated, if desired
Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Start to Finish: 25 Minutes
Servings: 30 appetizers
Instructions :
1. Heat oven to 400°F. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.2. In large bowl, mix all ingredients except pasta sauce. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls; place on cookie sheet.
3. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from pan. Serve with warmed pasta sauce.

HOW-TO :
To quickly thaw spinach, cut small slit in center of pouch; microwave on High 2 to 3 minutes or until thawed. Remove spinach from pouch; squeeze dry with paper towels.
