Classic Cupcakes
Traditional cupcakes are always popularIngredients :
- 200g butter, softened
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups self-raising flour
Instructions :
- Preheat oven to 180C.
- Line 12 muffin cups with papers.
- Using an electric beater, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating until smooth.
- Sieve the flour and gradually add to the wet mixture.
- Add a pinch of salt, and stir to combine.
- Fill the papers half way and bake for 16 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Remove the cupcakes from the oven and cool.
