Sponge Cake ( Only 4 Ingredients )

Sponge Cake 

Ingredients :

  1. 6 large eggs
  2. 3/4 cup white granulated sugar
  3. 1 cup all-purpose flour
  4. 1 teaspoon baking powder
Sponge Cake

Instructions :

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Line 2, 8-inch round cake pans with parchment paper without greasing the
  2. sides. Place eggs and sugar into a mixer bow] and whisk on high speed until thick and pale,
  3. almost white in color.
  4. Combine flour and baking powder. Sift flour into egg batter in small batches, folding very gently
  5. until all flour is added. Immediately pour batter into prepared pans.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown. Remove from pans immediately onto cooling
  7. racks and remove parchment paper.
  8. Let cool completely before slicing in half.
