Waldorf Salad 5-Ingredient

Ingredients :


  1. 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons non-fat lemon yogurt (half a
  2. 6-ounce container)
  3. 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar


  1. 2 cups diced, unpeeled green or red apples (Amount need not be exact—2 medium-sized apples should equal about 2 cups of apples)
  2. 1/4 cup dried cranberries or raisins
  3. 1/3 cup coarsely chopped walnuts

Waldorf Salad 5-Ingredient
Makes: 4 to 6 servings

Directions :

  1. Whisk the yogurt and vinegar together in a large bowl until smooth.
  2. Mix in the apples—coating them well with the dressing to keep them from turning dark.
  3. Cover and chill at least an hour before serving. Chilling allows the flavors to blend.

Alice’s Notes :

Make this a main dish salad by adding 2 cups of chopped, cooked chicken or turkey.
Use the remaining yogurt layered with granola and fruit for a small parfait at another time. Or, mix it in a smoothie. Or … just enjoy it all by itself!
