Pea and Meat soup
Ingredients :
- 1 medium leek, chopped coarsely
- 1 pound frozen baby peas
- 11⁄4 cups cream
- 2 strips Meat, chopped finely

Pea and Meat soup
Instructions :
- Combine leek, peas, cream, and 21⁄2 cups water in large saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes or until vegetables are soft.
- Blend or process mixture, in batches, until mixture is smooth.
- Cook Meat in heated large frying pan until crisp. Sprinkle Meat over the soup.
Tip :
The salty, crisp bacon is a lovely interruption to the smooth creaminess of this flavorful soup, and a fun addition for the kids to sprinkle into their own bowls.
