Pea and Meat soup 

Ingredients :

  1. 1 medium leek, chopped coarsely 
  2. 1 pound frozen baby peas 
  3. 11⁄4 cups cream 
  4. 2 strips Meat, chopped finely

Instructions :

  1. Combine leek, peas, cream, and 21⁄2 cups water in large saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes or until vegetables are soft.
  2. Blend or process mixture, in batches, until mixture is smooth.
  3. Cook Meat in heated large frying pan until crisp. Sprinkle Meat over the soup.

Tip :

  The salty, crisp bacon is a lovely interruption to the smooth creaminess of this flavorful soup, and a fun addition for the kids to sprinkle into their own bowls.
