 I take you on a trip to the plate today with this chicken recipe. This will change you (us) from the trip Kitchen => Living room => Bathroom => Bedroom (and that's if you have at least one T2). It is not that we quickly got around it but a little bit anyway: p. So there, youhou, I'll take you to Asia. We imagine Bangkok, Macao, Hong Kong - if you click on the links in Blue, you will see that I am creating the musical atmosphere at the same time - and we enjoy this preparation. Today it’s me who’s the sparkle in your life.

  I only took 3 thighs for 4 because with us that's enough. Yes, I know, my life is fascinating. If you don't have all the ingredients, that's okay. If you don't have fresh ginger, put some powder (ginger, I specify, I say this I say nothing: D) and if you don't have either, force on the garlic. If you don't have lime, add yellow (or a little vinegar or white wine) and if you don't have parsley or cilantro, then don't.

Ingredients :

For 4 people:

  1. 3 chicken thighs (including drumstick + upper thighs).
  2. 2 tablespoons of lime juice
  3. 2 cloves garlic
  4. 1 piece of ginger the size of two garlic cloves
  5. 1 tablespoon of honey
  6. 1 tablespoon of Nuoc Mam, the fish sauce. (or a good pinch of salt)
  7. 1 teaspoon of Sriracha sauce (or a good pinch of Cayenne pepper or Espelette)
  8. 1 tablespoon of oil
  9. 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley (or coriander)

Instructions :

  1. Peel the garlic cloves and ginger and grate everything in a small bowl. Add the lime juice, honey, fish sauce, Sriracha sauce and oil. Mix. Cut the chicken thighs in half (drumstick on one side, upper thigh on the other).
  2. Put the chicken pieces in a dish (I remove as much skin as possible). Brush the chicken pieces on all their sides with the sauce previously made.

  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for 40 minutes of cooking.
  5. Right out of the oven, sprinkle with chopped flat-leaf parsley (or coriander) and serve immediately. We went with rice, it was very good.
