Leek And Garlic Pasta, Mustard Sauce
Here is a very simple pasta recipe that allows you to enjoy leeks. I put in some meat for a smoky flavor, garlic and chives for flavor. To prevent it from being dry: a small express sauce made with cream and mustard. Nothing's easier!
Ingredients :
For 4 people :
- 350 g of short pasta
- 200 g smoked bacon
- 2 leeks
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 bunch of chives
- 10 cl of liquid cream
- 1 tbsp old-fashioned mustard
- Salt and pepper from the mill
Instructions :
1- Wash the leeks and cut them into rather thin slices.
2- Peel the garlic, defrost it and chop it.
3- Heat a pan and add the bacon. Sweat 5 min then add the garlic and leeks. Lightly salt and pepper.
4- Cook for 15 minutes over low heat while stirring regularly.
5- Meanwhile, prepare the sauce: mix the cream and the mustard and heat over low heat in a saucepan.
6- Bring a large pot of water to a boil, salt and cook the pasta according to the time indicated (remove 1 minute from the recommended time).
7- Drain.
8- Add the pasta to the pan and mix with the vegetables.
9- Serve immediately. Sprinkle generously with finely chopped chives and offer the sauce on the side.
